Our school values of Humanity, Integrity and Grit are the foundation upon which our school community is built and underpin our decision making, how we interact with each other and how we shape the life and learning of our school.

As a Positive Behaviour for Learning school, we embrace that expected behaviours must be explicitly taught. We seek to acknowledge positive behaviour and work in partnership with learners and families to respond to behaviours that do not meet our expectations. When teaching the Code of School Behaviour we use the language of our behaviour expectations as outlined in our GSS Behaviour Matrix including:

  • Organised
  • Safe
  • Caring
  • A learner
  • Respectful.

We will explicitly teach a range of positive behaviours and make clear our school expectations. The Student Code of Conduct and Uniform Policy outline the school's approach to ensuring all learners, staff and members of our community can live and learn in a safe, supportive school community.
