Griffin State School is excited about our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) initiate now available to all students. Our school has been well positioned to provide effective ICT infrastructure and foundation to support this program. We are an Education Queensland BYOD Pilot school site operating with full wireless coverage to support our student’s digital access.
All students will have access to fully funded Office 365 suite which will be provided during induction. This provides student’s access to Microsoft Office and a school email account. Students will have access to curriculum materials and network resources as well as printing on site on their BYOD device by the IT department.
Griffin SS iPad requirements for BYOD
- BYO devices must be able to run the newest iOS updates.
- No iPad Mini.
- No Mobile/Cellular Connections.
- No VPN Connections.
