Welcome to the Griffin State School P&C
Griffin State School Parents and Citizens association is a voluntary, non-profit organisation affiliated directly with the school.
What do we do?
P&C is short for Parents and Citizens. We collectively raise money for our school through events, fundraising, grants and our businesses.
The P & C operates three business within the school. They are the
Uniform Shop,
Lighthouse Café/Tuckshop and Coffee@Monty's.
We also run many of the school fundraising events such as Mother's and Father's Day stalls/brekkies, Discos, Christmas Carnival and more.
All profits are used to develop and enable projects at Griffin State School.

Become a member of the P&C
Being a member of the P&C is a fun effective way of contributing to your child's education at Griffin State School.
All parents and members of the school community are welcome to become a member of the P & C.
A P&C meeting is a great place to raise and discuss topics relating to our school. It is a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you are encouraged to be involved.
We meet at 9.30am or 6.30pm on the 2nd Wednesday of each month during school terms (approx. twice per term).
Meetings are held in the hall conference room.

2024/25 Executive team
Each year five members are voted as the executive team to lead the association.
They are volunteers that take on extra roles to ensure member decisions are implemented and governing guidelines are adhered to.
